Dont miss out, be a part of Echucas annual Winter Blues Festival. Begin your blues experience on Friday at any one of the venues in the historic port precinct. Dine and be entertained at the award winning Oscar W’s Wharfside, Nik’s Greek Taverna, Antonio’s, the historic Star Wine Bar and Café and The Shamrock Hotel.
Come Saturday from 9.00 am until high noon its Blues in the street with Hare Street, Echuca’s main shopping drag, coming alive with the Blues. Blues will shake up the Moama Up-Country market and the historic port precinct will resound with bands in venues and roaming the streets until late.
As for Saturday night - it’s full on! High Street is transformed into a miniature village and blues music is performed at a number of venues throughout the historic precinct. If you have enough stamina, you can join the crowd at the Star Bar until the early hours.
Sunday is Free Blues in the streets!
Sunday is the BIG day with bands in the street, on the corners, in pubs, cafes, restaurants, bars and venues in and around the historic port. There will also be street performers, face painting for the kids and much, much more. Just be in the historic port precinct from 11.00 am until 5.00 pm and you will hear FREE Blues, Blues and more Blues! You can also “Cruise and Blues” over lunch on the PS Canberra.
